The game was developed in 2007 by the British media company Mind Candy and launched in April 2008. In 2011, Ty produced six Beanie Babies based on Moshi Monster characters:Angel,Honey,Mr. Snoodle,Purdy,ShiShiandSquidge. In 2012, Ty produced three more Moshi Monster characters:Coolio, Jeepers andWhite Fang.
