Profits from the sale of red America were donated to each buyer's local Red Cross (probably based on the zip code provided online at the time of purchase). Red America bears with a blue left ear were randomly shipped from the Ty online store. This reversed ear version is harder to find than the original version with the blue right ear. The red version of America was sold out at the online Ty Store on March 31, 2002. There are five other versions of America.
